The Nikau Palm is a native tree to New Zealand and it lives in Punakaiki. It has a tall and bumpy trunk and it grows two inches a day. It has spiky leaves and wide leaves. The seeds fall and then grow on the West Coast.
Kia ora, Kaede here. I Think you did a great job on describing the Nikau palms on the west coast. We did heaps of descriptive writing last term. Keep up the good work.
Hi Zyah. Its Ella here from T3 again! Descriptive writing is really good. I have seen a lot of Nikau Palms in Punikiaki. I didn't know that they grow 2 inches each day thats quite a lot! Our class was working on descriptive writing last term and I liked it a lot. Thanks from Ella.
